Terms of Service

Welcome to ZenBell. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the ZenBell mobile application (the "App") provided by Hephaestosian ("we," "us," or "our"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. Use of the App

1.1 Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use this App. If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent or guardian’s permission to use the App.

1.2 License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes on devices you own or control.

2. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality (including but not limited to the unique Buddhist bell sound recordings, design, and code) are the exclusive property of Hephaestosian. You may not decompile, reverse engineer, or attempt to extract the source code or assets of the App without our prior written permission.

3. In-App Purchases & Subscriptions

Billing: Payments for ad-removal or other premium features are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
Refunds: Refund requests are handled according to the policies of the respective app stores.
No Server-Side Storage: Since ZenBell operates as a standalone tool, your purchase status is stored locally. Deleting app data or changing devices may require you to use the "Restore Purchase" feature.

4. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without any warranties of any kind. While we strive to provide the best experience, we do not guarantee that the App will be error-free or uninterrupted. ZenBell is a mindfulness tool and is not intended for medical diagnosis or treatment.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hephaestosian shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use or inability to use the App.

6. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of any changes by updating the "Effective Date" at the top of this page. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
